Our story began in 2009 when we met at the University of Florida. After getting married, we moved to North Carolina for graduate school and began dreaming about what it would look like if we stayed. Twelve years and three incredible children later we still feel blessed to call Western North Carolina home. We enjoy all the outdoor activities this area has to offer, and can usually be found on a hike or playing in a river. We feel closest to God surrounded by nature and love sharing the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains with others.

Our passion for hospitality led us to open our first vacation rental in 2021. We quickly realized our passion was not just for welcoming others to the mountains, but transforming properties and designing intentional spaces that embody the beauty of this area.  We brought this mindset to our own family home, The Cottage, and are excited to take on our next transformation in renovating our biggest project yet, our Forever Home.
